What is FSTA?

FSTA was created to ensure a healthy future of trails.

The FSTA is a not-for-profit organization, local to Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, devoted to all things trails in the region. We organize maintenance, promote safety & courtesy, and represent the community of those who hike, run, and bike, in discussion with the city.

The natural surface trails of Fort Saskatchewan reside on Treaty 6 territory; the ancestral and traditional territory of the Cree, Dene, Blackfoot, Saulteaux, Nakota Sioux, as well as the Métis. We acknowledge the many First Nations, Métis and Inuit peoples whose footsteps have marked these lands for generations. Our recognition of this land is an expression of our gratitude to those whose territory we reside on, or are visiting.
